Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 29, 2026
Welcome to Logs. By downloading or using this app, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them — they are short and written in plain language.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Logs, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What Logs Does
Logs is a personal time tracking app that lets you record activities throughout your day and review where your time goes. Your account and your logs are stored on our servers so that they are backed up and available across your devices.
3. Your Account
Logs uses Sign in with Apple to create and access your account. You agree that:
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple ID used to access Logs
- You will not share your account with others or let anyone else use it
- The information associated with your account is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You will notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission
4. Your Content
The time logs and notes you create in Logs belong to you. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the app and providing it back to you. We do not claim ownership of your logs and we do not use them for any other purpose.
You are responsible for the content you enter. Please do not store sensitive personal information, credentials, or confidential third-party information in your logs.
5. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app, under Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We recommend exporting anything you want to keep before deleting.
6. Acceptable Use
Logs is intended for personal time tracking. You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or tamper with the app
- Attempt to access another user’s account or data
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the app or the servers and networks behind it
- Use automated systems to access the app in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure
7. Third-Party Services
Logs relies on services provided by Apple and by Google Firebase. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or failures in third-party services that affect the app.
8. Service Availability
We aim to keep Logs available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to give you advance notice and an opportunity to export your data.
9. No Warranty
Logs is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creators of Logs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any data that matters to you.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Logs if you breach these Terms or use the app in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
12. Intellectual Property
The Logs app, including its design, name, and code, is owned by its creators. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your Apple device for personal use only.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and let you know via an app update or notification. Continued use of Logs after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country/state]. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of [your jurisdiction].
